Connie Blanton
A North Carolina native, Connie is one of two directors of Family Discipleship. She grew up in Charlotte then attended Lenoir-Rhyne College, where she earned a degree in Education for the Deaf and Early Childhood Education. She had the pleasure of teaching preschool deaf children for the NC School for the Deaf and interpreting for the deaf in her church.

She married her husband, Robert, in 1983 and moved to Mooresville. They have three wonderful children, ranging in age from 12-19. Their family moved to the Waynesville area in 2002.

Connie believes that, as a wife and mother, her highest calling is the mission field of "home." She's loved home-schooling her own children.

All our children's ministries are built upon the core belief that parents have the greatest impact on our sons' and daughters' spiritual journeys simply because moms and dads spend the most time with them.
